Sue Wieger was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and is currently finishing a Masters of Educational Psychology with special emphasis in Sport Psychology from Northern Arizona University. Ms. Wieger was an interscholastic athlete at UNO where she received her Teaching Degree. Sue was on her way to teaching and coaching in the public schools when the golf bug hit her. She jumped into golf on the amateur scene in Nebraska and took it by storm; placing high in the women's amateur ranks her first 3 years of playing. Her teaching passion came calling, so she joined the PGA and LPGA to pursue a golf career. Ms. Wieger is currently a 16 year LPGA Class "A" Club & Teaching Professional and has worked and consulted with many fine golf companies such as:
Ms. Wieger is currently in the process of opening the Sue Wieger Golf Academy at Indian Creek where she will be a full-time teacher. She is the Nebraska EWGA's Golf Education featured Instructor. She also owns /operates LifeTime Golf Connections, LLC. in Omaha, Nebraska. Sue creates and coordinates unique golf instructional programs for private individuals; groups and corporate golf outings. Sue is a published golf writer, and has been a featured guest on various golf shows in Phoenix, Arizona before moving back home to Omaha. Sue has extensive experience in Club fitting and is Certified Fitter for PING, Henry Griffitt's, Magique, Nancy Lopez and Eagle Flight Single Flex Shaft System. Sue is also a 7-year breast cancer survivor and is dedicated to raising funds for breast cancer. Sue was the Golf Chairman for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, Phoenix Affiliate and Turquoise Circle for the LPGA Ping/Banner Health Golf Tournament.
